De Naaikrans (Sewing Circle) is a seminar, spa experience and sewing circle combined. While performing needlework, a variety of guests talk to each other about questions such as “what is feminist about needlework?” “Can you break through the deep-rooted separation between body and mind with crafts?” During this public event we presented our research into the underexposed history of needlework.
