Two archetypes, the wool-spinning witch and the goddess of domestic handicrafts, the CreaBea: In this performance lecture, the FHP revealed the magical powers and survival techniques attributed to wool-spinning in ancient European religions while at the same time handicrafts have been used, throughout history, as a way of keeping women tied to the home. The audience was invited beforehand to take their own needlework project out of their bag during this performance lecture.
